The Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres will square off on Friday evening, with Brandon McCarthy opposing Clayton Richard on the mound. From a lineup perspective, here is what Brian Snitker will deploy in the second of a four-game series.

There is no surprises here, as Culberson has essentially served as a near-everyday left fielder in the recent past. Kurt Suzuki gets the start behind the plate after Tyler Flowers began the series in the lineup on Thursday, with no other notable changes from the lineup Snitker has been sending out there to mixed results.
On the San Diego side, there are a few changes from the opener, as Christian Villanueva and Travis Jankowski will replace Cory Spangenburg and Franmil Reyes, respectively.

On paper, this certainly isn’t an overly imposing lineup from San Diego against McCarthy but only time will tell as to how the veteran right-hander performs.
Stay tuned.
