The Braves has placed starting pitchers Mike Foltynewicz on the 10-day Disabled List today for right triceps tightness. They will activate Julio Teheran.

Mike Foltynewicz is leading Braves pitchers in WAR and is third in ERA among qualified starters. He was removed from Tuesday’s game versus the Mets after breezing through 5 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. He will be replaced on the active roster by Julio Teheran. The DL stint is retroactive to June 13th, so he may be available again by next weekend.
