The Atlanta Braves are sending LHP Luiz Gohara back to the minors in order to develop a routine and once again settle into a role. The Braves have not officially announced the move yet but when reporters entered the clubhouse this morning, they found Luke Jackson instead of Gohara.
Gohara's locker has been cleaned out. Luke Jackson in his place.

As expected, Braves have sent Gohara to an affiliate so he can develop a routine.

Gohara came into the season as a favorite to establish himself in the team’s rotation. Hamstring and ankle injuries suffered in spring training derailed that thought but he hasn’t had much of a chance to get himself on track either. He had been recently used out of the bullpen in a mop up role that simply isn’t going to allow him to develop. It seems at this point the appropriate course of action is to return him to Triple-A where he can join the rotation there and reestablish himself as an option later on this season.
Gohara has appeared in seven games this season and has allowed 12 earned runs in just 15 2/3 innings.
Update - The Braves have officially announced the move.
