Swanson leads off, Culberson second, Albies with a day off in series finale

Bit of a lineup shakeup for the Braves in today’s series finale.

This is the first time Swanson has hit leadoff since his fifth career game in August 2016. Culberson hasn’t started in the two-hole since the end of the 2016 season. This is Flaherty’s first start since June 8; he hasn’t played a full game in nearly a month (May 22).

This will be Ozzie Albies’ first day off the season; he has appeared in all 70 games the Braves have played so far. Johan Camargo appeared in one game so far this season at second after entering as a pinch hitter; this will be his first start at second base since late last year.

The San Diego lineup should be familiar to the Braves at this point.

Spangenberg (fifth), Hosmer (second), and Lopez (eighth) all homered off Teheran in San Diego. We’ll hope for better results this afternoon. Freddy Galvis has a ton of experience against Teheran and has hit him well; the other Padres have pretty much only see him from their entanglement a couple of weeks ago.
