Video: Julio Teheran’s dominant performance leads Braves over Padres

It appears the rest did Julio Teheran a lot of good.

MLB: San Diego Padres at Atlanta Braves Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Julio Teheran turned in a lights-out performance in his return from the disabled list to help the Atlanta Braves to a 4-1 win over the San Diego Padres on Sunday.

Johan Camargo put the Braves on the board in the fourth with a two run double. Camargo went 1-for-3 on the afternoon and drove in his 24th and 25th run of the season.

With Atlanta clinging to a one-run lead in the eighth, Tyler Flowers provided some insurance with his fourth home run of the season off of Brad Hand.

Nick Markakis added three more hits to his ledger including his 21st double of the season. He also had this nice sliding catch in the ninth to help seal the win.

Julio Teheran was dominant in his return from the disabled list throwing six no-hit innings while striking out 11.
