With the Braves off to a great start to the season, Braves fans are more excited than they have been in years. This has been easily visible in the attendance of games this season as well as how well Braves players have been doing in All-Star balloting.
Based purely on performance, there are several players that have been performing well enough to make a strong case for an All-Star appearance. Freddie Freeman has been the best hitter in the National League so far this season, Ozzie Albies has been a surprising source of power and overall production at second base, and Nick Markakis is playing out of his mind in the last year of his contract with the Braves.
It looks like fans agree that they should be All-Stars.

Freddie currently leads all players by over 300,000 votes and with good reason since he leads all NL position players with 3.5 fWAR this season. However, what is more surprising is that Nick Markakis is second with over 1.8 million votes. Markakis has been great this season with 2.4 fWAR through his first 76 games and appears to be a lock for his first All-Star appearance. Ozzie Albies has a healthy lead at second base with over 1.4 million votes with Scooter Gennett and Javier Baez currently battling for second place behind him. If Ozzie can continue his recent hot streak, he should be able to lock in a starting spot as well.
The Braves have players in the top 5 in voting at every position with Dansby Swanson in second place at shortstop, Johan Camargo in third at third base, and Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ender Inciarte in 5th and 6th in the outfield.
