After a near day-off yesterday, Dansby Swanson is back in the lineup.
Dansby wasn’t in the starting lineup of the final game against Baltimore, but came off the bench in the 8th inning and mashed a pinch-hit HR to left to put the game out of reach. He will reclaim his post at short tonight, while Johan Camargo returns to third. Danny Santana gets the nod in left field for the third straight game. Here’s how Snitker will roll out the rest of his starting nine:

The Braves will face Tyler Mahle for the second time this year. During his first start of the season against Atlanta on April 24 (which was also his first career start against them), Mahle gave up 3 runs over 6 innings, but did not figure in the decision. Kurt Suzuki (who will be behind the plate for Mike Foltynewicz’s return) homered off Mahle in that game, as did Freddie Freeman.
After being activated from the disabled list, Foltynewicz will make his first start in two weeks. He will face a Reds squad that will line up accordingly:

Former Braves farmhand Jose Peraza will start at short for the Reds. Aside from Joey Votto’s career .429/.667/.429/1.095 slash line against him (3-for-7 with 5 walks), no Reds hitters have done much damage against Folty. In his only start against Cincinnati this year, he struck out 7 over 4 ⅔ innings but he did not make it out of the 5th inning. The Reds took that contest, 10-4.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:35pm ET.
