The Atlanta Braves are back in action on Wednesday afternoon, with Sean Newcomb on the hill with an eye toward a series victory over the Cincinnati Reds. Given the recent track record of success for the left-hander, it is easy to be optimistic about Atlanta’s chances with Newcomb taking the ball but here is the full lineup that Brian Snitker will deploy on this “getaway day.”

With a day game after a night game, Kurt Suzuki gets the nod behind the plate but the headliner is the absence of Ozzie Albies. This leads to the less than desirable set-up of Danny Santana (starting in left field) in the No. 2 hole, with Charlie Culberson shifting to third base and Johan Camargo playing alongside Dansby Swanson up the middle.
The Reds will counter with the following lineup, including Billy Hamilton back in the No. 9 spot after a more “traditional” lineup on Tuesday.
