Braves sub in Suzuki to give Flowers extra rest after hamstring cramp last night

The Braves catching duo has been quite banged up this season but continue to produce through it all.

After being subbed out of last nights win thanks to a rough looking hamstring cramp it would seem the Braves are being extra cautious with Tyler Flowers today.

Atlanta will roll with a basic familiar lineup with the veteran Suzuki doing the honors behind the plate despite being drilled in the left cheek in last night’s game.

The Cardinals will have to deal with Max Fried tonight but do not look as though they’re trying to re-invent the wheel with their lineup.

These two clubs know what works by this point in the season and barring injury or terrible play the lineups for each team are more or less set from here on out.

Here’s to a fun night of baseball in St. Louis and a series win to start this long road trip.
