The Atlanta Braves will try to right the ship when they wrap up a two-game set against the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday night at SunTrust Park. Atlanta dropped Tuesday’s series opener in uncharacteristic fashion committing three errors while unraveling late in a 6-2 loss.

Atlanta has now lost 6-of-7 and now trail the Philadelphia Phillies by one game in the NL East standings. So they need to get things turned around quickly and build some momentum heading into the All-Star break.

Atlanta will turn to first time All-Star Mike Foltynewicz in Wednesday’s series finale. Foltynewicz has been stellar this season and was chosen as a reserve for the National League squad. He is looking to get back on track after one bad inning derailed him in his last start.

Folty allowed five runs in the third inning last time out against the Brewers. He was otherwise spotless allowing six hits and five runs over six innings. He has been the picture of consistency this season allowing three runs or less in 15 of his 17 starts.

Toronto will counter with right-hander Sam Gaviglio who pitched well in his last outing but ran up a high pitch count and lasted just 4 1/3 innings against the Yankees. Gaviglio allowed just four hits and one earned run while striking out six. He has allowed three earned runs or less in four straight starts.
