Kyle Wright won’t be the Atlanta Braves’ only representative in the 2018 Futures Game after all. Gwinnett starter Touki Toussaint has been added to the World Roster as a replacement for Francisco Mejia who was recalled by the Cleveland Indians.

Toussaint has put together a terrific season. He began the season at Double-A Mississippi where he appeared in 16 games while posting a 2.93 ERA. He struck out 107 in 86 innings at the Double-A level. He was promoted to Triple-A on July 4 where he has made one start allowing five hits and one run over 6.2 innings.

MLB Pipeline has Toussaint ranked as Atlanta’s 10th best prospect.

The Futures Game will be held on Sunday, July 15 at 4 p.m. ET at Nationals Park. The game will be televised live on MLB Network and will be streamed live via MLB.com
