Atlanta looks to push its record to 2-1 since the All-Star Break

Tonight, the Braves begin a two-game series against the Marlins. Unlike the series they just completed in Washington, this one was scheduled as such, and not the result of rain delays. By this time tomorrow, the Marlins series will be over and the Braves will find themselves traveling back home.

In the meantime, the Braves will find themselves facing Jose Ureña this evening. With Ozzie Albies still on the shelf, the lineup will look to strong past performances against Ureña from Freddie Freeman and Ender Inciarte to propel the offense to victory. A Braves win, paired with a Phillies loss to the Dodgers, would result in another first-place tie in the National League East.

Can Ronald Acuña continue his torrid pace at the top of the Braves lineup? Will Freeman and Inciarte replicate their past successes against Ureña? Did the extended rest over the All-Star break benefit Sean Newcomb? The answers will unfold over the next few hours.
