Braves reportedely among teams interested in Orioles’ Kevin Gausman

The former #4 draft pick could be finding a new home today.

The Braves are among several teams expressing interest in the Orioles’ Kevin Gausman.

The former number four draft pick in 2012 is likely on the move given the current state of the Orioles. Though he hasn’t quite lived up to the billing that we all expected - Kevin has put together a solid start to his career with a 4.22 ERA and 3.93 xFIP in 150 games. He’s currently 5-8 with a 4.43 ERA and 4.58 FIP for a rather bad Orioles team and is the perfect change of scenery candidate for this trade deadline. He’s done a fantastic job limiting walks - 2.32 BB/9 - but has once again struggled with homers exhibiting a 16.7% HR/FB rate and 1.52 HR/9 rate. All of this despite a strong 47% GB% as well.

Stay tuned as this is going to be a very wild final couple of hours.
