The Braves just announced the trade for Adam Duvall and the corresponding move to get him onto the roster.
In order to make room on the active roster, the #Braves optioned OF Michael Reed to Triple-A Gwinnett.

After a brief stint in Atlanta, following a masterful season in Gwinnett, Reed returns to Gwinnett to make room for Duvall. Duvall, acquired yesterday in a trade for Lucas Sims, Matt Wisler, and Preston Tucker, allows the Braves to platoon Ender Inciarte with Acuña sliding to center and Duvall taking over left when the Braves face a lefty.
While struggling this season - Duvall provides a powerful bat off the bench along with excellent defense in both left and center without having to give up any notable prospects.
