The Atlanta Braves look to capture a series win when they wrap up a three-game interleague set against the New York Yankees. Atlanta took Monday’s opener thanks an 11th inning home run by Ronald Acuña Jr. Sean Newcomb struggled early and the Braves’ comeback attempt fell short in an 8-5 loss on Tuesday.

Julio Teheran will be on the mound for the Braves on Wednesday and will be looking to find some consistency after alternating good and bad starts during the month of June. Teheran was solid last time out allowing just two hits over six shutout innings against the Cardinals. He struggled in his only appearance against the Yankees in his career surrendering nine hits and eight runs in just 4 1/3 innings.

The Yankees will counter with veteran left-hander CC Sabathia in the finale. After struggling in May, Sabathia settled in in June posting a 1.93 ERA in five starts. He allowed six hits and one run over seven strong innings in his last start against the Red Sox. Sabathia is 3-1 with a 3.31 ERA in four career starts against Atlanta.
