The Atlanta Braves announced on Saturday that they have recalled left hander Kolby Allard from Triple-A and have optioned reliever Chad Bell.

Allard and Touki Toussaint are the odds on favorites to start one of the games in Monday’s doubleheader. Toussaint was scratched from his scheduled start on Friday which has led many to believe that he is the favorite. Allard could be with the Braves simply as a long relief option for Saturday and Sunday’s games.

Allard has struggled at the major league level in two brief appearances, one as a starter and another in relief. He has allowed 15 hits and eight earned runs in just seven innings while walking three and striking out two.
