The Atlanta Braves ran their winning streak to three straight games Wednesday night with a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Coupled with another loss by the Phillies in Washington, and Atlanta has now opened up a three game lead in the NL East division.
Julio Teheran was magnificent again Wednesday evening allowing one run over seven innings while the offense did just enough to secure the win. Atlanta sweeps the three-game set in Pittsburgh and will now move on to Miami for four more to close out the road trip.
