An eighth-inning rally helped the Atlanta Braves to a 5-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates to snap a three-game losing streak. Dansby Swanson homered and Freddie Freeman came through with a clutch double to help spark the comeback. The Braves increased their lead in the NL East to three games over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Here is what Freeman and company had to say about the win.
“All the guys came up clutch and it kind of shows the battle this team has. It is fun to watch and fun to be apart of every day.”— FOX Sports: Braves (@FOXSportsBraves) September 2, 2018
