MLB Playoffs Schedule: Braves to face winner of Monday’s tiebreaker between Dodgers-Rockies

The Rockies and Dodgers will play Game 163 to determine who wins the West.

162 games was not enough to determine the NL Central and West divisions, and the Braves still do not know who their opponent will be in the NLDS.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies, both 91-71, will play a winner-take-division game at Dodger Stadium on Monday at 4:09 p.m. ET. The winner will face the Braves in the NLDS.

The loser will play in the Wild Card Game on Tuesday against the loser of the Cubs and Brewers, who also tied in the Central and will play a winner-take-division game at 1:05 p.m. ET on Monday.

The Braves did not fare well against either the Dodgers or Rockies this season, going 2-5 against both clubs. The Dodgers are the superior team by just about every metric (outside of games won, of course) and are better built for a short five-game series. Personally, I will be rooting for the Rockies.

Monday should be a lot of fun. Let the chaos commence.
