Anthopoulos: Braves’ focus is adding OF
Braves’ GM Alex Anthopoulos spoke with media members Saturday at the team’s annual Chop Fest and said that his focus was on acquiring an outfielder. He also indicated that a deal could be completed soon.
“Some of the things we’ve explored are starting to move,” Anthopoulos said. “There are a lot of things we’d like to do and a lot of things we’d like to get done. We just don’t want to force a move. I know at times that can be tough for a fanbase. Everybody wants to see us make a splash with trades and signings. I get it
Anthopoulos also held a State of the Team address Saturday afternoon where he answered fan questions and was also a guest during Fox Sports Southeast’s Chop Fest coverage. You can check out video of those appearances here.
