Dansby Swanson, Mike Soroka on Braves’ Game 3 win

Atlanta is one win away from advancing to the NLCS.

Dansby Swanson came through at the plate and in the field while Adam Duvall delivered another clutch moment as the Atlanta Braves rallied for a 3-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Mike Soroka turned in an impressive performance but Adam Wainwright matched him pitch-for-pitch. In the end though, it was that Braves that battled back while facing adversity late for a come-from-behind win.

Dansby Swanson made play after play in the field and went 3-for-4 at the plate including a ninth inning double that tied the game. After struggling down the stretch, Swanson has been big for the Braves in the series.

Brian Snitker talked about the pitching duel between Soroka and Wainwright and how Swanson continues to come up clutch. He also wouldn’t tip his hand on who will get the start in Game 4.

Just how good was Soroka? He allowed two hits and one run over seven innings while striking out seven.

Freddie Freeman discusses Soroka’s performance, Swanson and Duvall’s heroics and called it perhaps the best game that he has ever been a part of.

Adam Duvall is joined at the podium by Dansby Swanson. He talks about his role and they both go through their ninth inning at-bats.

Brian McCann gives his thoughts on Soroka’s performance and talks about the Braves’ resiliency in the late innings. “I can’t say enough about Dansby Swanson.”
