The 2019 season came to an end for the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday with a disappointing Game 5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. The result speaks for itself and is a disappointing end for the players and fans alike.
Freddie Freeman summed up the end result pretty well.
"I would describe it as we failed. We had a really good team, a team good enough to go all the way. That's pretty much how I feel right now."
