Team USA will face Team Mexico Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. The top two teams from the pool will advance to the Super Round in Tokyo which will be held November 11-16.

MLB News

The New York Mets are considering adding former skipper Terry Collins as bench coach. Collins has a strong relationship with new manager Carlos Beltran.

The Mets also announced that they have declined their club option on outfielder Juan Lagares while second baseman Joe Panik and left-hander Donnie Hart elected free agency after they were outrighted.

Twins reliever Sam Dyson also elected free agency after he was outrighted from the major league roster. Dyson had shoulder surgery late in September and is expected to miss all of the 2020 season.
