Josh Donaldson was one of 10 players that received qualifying offers on Monday. Each player will have until November 14 to decide whether to accept the one-year, $17.8 million offer or decline it and head into free agency with attached draft pick compensation. Here is a look at each player who received a qualifying offer.

Jose Abreu - White Sox
Madison Bumgarner - Giants
Gerrit Cole - Astros
Josh Donaldson - Braves
Jake Odorizzi - Twins
Marcell Ozuna - Cardinals
Anthony Rendon - Nationals
Will Smith - Giants
Stephen Strasburg - Nationals
Zack Wheeler - Mets

While the Braves will receive a compensatory draft selection if Donaldson declines the qualifying offer and goes elsewhere, the team will have to weigh losing a pick of their own should they pursue any of the free agents above.

Atlanta was rumored to have had interest in Madison Bumgarner last season at the trade deadline. Mets righty Zack Wheeler was another name that appeared to be a good fit for Atlanta but they will have to weigh losing a pick to do so.

Alex Anthopoulos waited until after draft pick compensation expired to sign Dallas Keuchel last June. As rumors start to flow this offseason, this is something that needs to be kept in mind.
