The Atlanta Braves announced their first roster moves of the spring trimming 10 players including Luiz Gohara who was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett along with Patrick Weigel and Huascar Ynoa.
Gohara had been slowed this spring by a sore shoulder but he has been throwing and could be ready to pitch in games soon. Weigel made two appearances this spring allowing two hits and one run over 1 2/3 innings. Ynoa allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless one inning appearance.

The team also reassigned pitchers Kyle Muller, Joey Wentz, Ian Anderson, catchers William Contreras, Jonathan Morales and outfielders Drew Waters and Greyson Jenista to minor league camp.
Following these moves, the Braves have 48 players remaining on their spring roster.
