Wednesday’s series finale between the Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies has been canceled due to an impending snowstorm. The game will be made up on Monday, August 26 at 3:10 p.m. ET (and 1:10 p.m. local time in Denver).
That will force an unfortunate travel situation for the Braves who will have to play in New York on August 25 and then fly to Denver for the make up game before moving on to Toronto.
For now, Atlanta will return home where they will open a four-game series against the New York Mets on Thursday. Kevin Gausman was scheduled to make today’s start in Colorado and will likely move back a day to pitch the opener against the Mets. The Braves have yet to announce their pitching plans for the remainder of the series.
