Braves/Rockies snowed out in Denver, will be made up August 26

The Braves bats were bound to cool off at some point, but this way is much less costly in the standings. Atlanta will make up the contest on August 26, which is somewhat unfortunate as this series featured a heavily decimated Rockies roster. Hopefully during April of next season Major League Baseball considers leaving Denver out of the Braves’ travel plans.

Gausman to start Thursday due to weather

Kevin Gausman was scheduled to start for Atlanta on Wednesday night in Colorado, where over 100 family and friends were set to watch the right-hander make his first start in his hometown. Instead, Gausman will get the ball on Thursday as the Braves begin a four-game series with the Mets.
