Ozzie Albies returns to the leadoff spot in game three versus Mets

Inciarte gets a day off.

MLB: New York Mets at Atlanta Braves Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Today is seeing a lineup shift for the Braves who will sit both Ender Inciarte and Tyler Flowers today. As a result Ozzie Albies moves back to the leadoff spot, Johan Camargo receives some more at-bats and Alex Jackson gets the start behind the plate.

For the Mets it is hitting machine Jeff McNeil leading off with some serious power just behind him to face off against Sean Newcomb.

For New York the old saying rings true, “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” and for the Braves their number one focus has to be on getting a big number on the scoreboard quickly because you do not want to mess with this Mets bullpen late. This will be an interesting matchup as Newcomb has been great historically against the Mets and Vargas hasn’t had the same luck against the Bravos.

Settle in and get ready. Braves baseball is coming your way soon.
