The Braves fell to the Diamondbacks again on Wednesday, with familiar faces contributing to the bullpen giving way late.

Bullpen costs Braves for second straight night in 3-2 loss to Diamondbacks

The Braves has trouble on offense for the majority of this game, managing just six hits, but once again the bullpen was unable to match the opposition as walks led to a 3-2 Arizona win. Rinse and repeat, unfortunately, for the Atlanta relief corps.

Atlanta will be without it’s closer for the remainder of the 2019 season.

Anthopoulos to consider ‘internal and external’ options in regards to bullpen

The Braves will consider a wide range of options according to GM Alex Anthopoulos. With their closer on the shelf, their setup man incapable of getting out right-handers, and the remainder of bullpen in shambles, help needs to come quickly.

The Braves will send Mike Soroka to the mound on Thursday, an exciting development for fans who fell in love with the polished young right-hander during his impressive stretch with Atlanta a year ago.
