Ender Inciarte Exits Game with Apparent Leg Injury, Will be reevaluated on Tuesday (Updated)

The Braves center fielder seemed to hurt himself running out a base hit.

MLB: Atlanta Braves at Cincinnati Reds David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

In tonight’s game against the Padres, Braves center fielder Ender Inciarte seemed to injure himself running out a base hit in the bottom of the third.

Johan Camargo came in as a pinch runner to replace Inciarte. A botched throw to second on a Mike Soroka sacrifice bunt scored Camargo, and Ozzie Albies followed it up with a single to drive in Soroka. While Inciarte’s single sparked a much needed rally, his injury is obviously not ideal for defense and depth purposes.

Update - The Braves announced that Inciarte was removed for precautionary reasons due right hamstring tightness.

We will update the situation as more info becomes available.

Updated- Mark Bowman gave the latest from Brian Snitner regarding Inciarte.

While the results seem encouraging, tomorrow will certainly be critical to Inciarte’s avalibility in the near future. Once the determination is made, we will provide the official word as soon as it is released.
