Braves go with a new lineup look in second game against Cubs

There are going to be some happy folks when they look at the Braves’ lineup for Wednesday evening.

If you want to get Braves fans riled up, one need only introduce the topic of lineup construction into a conversation. There has already been a fair bit of discord over having Ender Inciarte in the leadoff spot to start the season, but there was also a fair amount of speculation as to how the team would lineup against a lefty in 2019.

Well, we have a glance at just that for this evening’s game as the Braves will have Ozzie Albies batting leadoff, Johan Camargo in the lineup playing left field, and Ender Inciarte getting the night off with Ronald Acuna Jr. shifting over to center field.

The Cubs also go with a different look with their lineup...well, at least different from the first game of the series with Heyward batting 9th and no David Bote, Albert Almora, or Mark Zagunis. One can only assume that the Cubs are hoping to get a better performance from this lineup given that not only did they fail to score in the first game, but the team’s defense could be generously described as “adventurous”.
