UPDATE: The Braves have reportedly signed Keuchel to a one-year deal worth $21M, which prorates to roughly $13M for the rest of the season.

Keuchel will reportedly take a physical in Atlanta on Friday, and assuming everything goes well there, he will debut with Gwinnett on Saturday night.

Talks were reportedly progressing between the Atlanta Braves and free agent left-hander Dallas Keuchel throughout the day and now it appears that a deal is in place. The Athletic’s David O’Brien reports that the Braves and Keuchel have agreed to terms on what is likely a one-year deal.

The deal was also confirmed by ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

We will add additional details as they become available but it appears that Alex Anthopoulos just added a major piece to the team’s starting rotation.
