Ronald Acuña Jr. will represent the Braves in the 2019 Home Run Derby.

The 2019 T-Mobile Home Run Derby will be held Monday, July 8 at 8 p.m. and can be seen via ESPN. Ronald Acuña Jr. will represent the Atlanta Braves in the event as one of seven entrants who will all be vying for $1 million in prize money.

Acuña drew the No. 6 seed in the derby and will be matched up against Pittsburgh’s Josh Bell in the first round. If he is able to advance, he will face either Mets rookie Pete Alonso or Indians first baseman Carlos Santana.

Oakland third baseman Matt Chapman was announced as an injury replacement for Christian Yelich on Sunday. He will take over as the No. 1 overall seed and will be matched against Blue Jays rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in the first round. Astros third baseman Alex Bregman will face Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson in the other first round matchup.
