Max Fried allowed four of Philadelphia’s five home runs as the Atlanta Braves fall just short in a 6-5 loss. Even with the loss, the Braves saw their magic number reduced to nine thanks to the Nationals’ 5-0 loss to Minnesota on Tuesday.
