The Braves will face Drew Smyly in the series finale in Philadelphia. As a result, Atlanta will cover Ronald Acuna Jr. with Adam Duvall and Austin Riley in order to maximize the opportunities to tee off against a southpaw. Both Riley and Duvall have been exposed as liabilities against right handers, but their production against left handers makes the Braves lineup very formidable. Riley seemed to have his best at-bat since coming back from injury last night, which hopefully means he can find a late season groove similar to his hot run in May.

In an effort to salvage their season, the Phillies are simply sticking with their best options to produce. The long standing Teheran-Harper saga continues tonight, and the hope is that Teheran can keep the players around Harper silent. Overall, this Phillies lineup can be dangerous on any giving night. Limiting their extra chances will be critical for the Braves.
