At this point, it seems likely that this Braves lineup will be the one featured against right handers in the playoffs. While the names may not jump off the page, the production certainly can. Ozzie Albies and Matt Joyce have been the best Braves regulars over the past week, with Nick Markakis certainly adding value as well. Ronald Acuna Jr. , Freddie Freeman, and Josh Donaldson will produce when the time comes. The key then becomes Brian McCann and Dansby Swanson. When the Braves were winning at a historic rate between mid August and mid September, it was due to the bottom of their lineup producing. Now that the regulars are back, Atlanta needs that production to return. If the top of the order can hit with runners on, the Braves offense becomes very hard to beat.

For Mike Foltynewicz, the goal has to be limiting the production of the top of the order. Though the Giants order may not feature many big time producers, it is filled with plenty of veterans who know how to work the count and get on base. If Foltynewicz can locate his secondary offerings, it is likely that he will find success with his fastball. Hopefully, if Folty can limit his walks and work throughout the strike zone, he can work late into the game. With Martin, Greene, and Melancon all having worked yesterday, a six to seven inning performance would be beneficial.
