Mike Foltynewicz allowed three runs on a pair of homers while the Braves’ offense was held in check once again in a 3-0 loss to the New York Mets.

Despite injuries, Braves still confident in postseason bench

Injuries to Johan Camargo and Charlie Culberson has caused Atlanta’s bench depth to dwindle as the season comes to a close but the Braves remain confident in the group that they have available.

“We have better options and more reliable, solid options that we could go to than last year,” Snitker said. “The one thing we’ve been bitten by with the injuries is our bench. What was really a strong looking bench (was because of) guys we don’t have anymore. We lost some guys due to injury. Before that, you look at the guys we have here, especially when Camargo came back, and it’d still be good, but we lost some versatility in that bench with the injuries.”

Ranking the 2019 postseason lineups ‘s Richard Justice ranks the lineups for each 2019 postseason team with the Atlanta Braves check in at No. 6. The Astros top the list and are followed by the Yankees. The Dodgers are the top NL team at No. 4 and are followed by the Washington Nationals at No. 5.
