The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Sunday afternoon that Dustin May will get the start in Game 7. May of course was the starter in Game 5 and likely will not pitch more than one or two innings. Tony Gonsolin and Julio Urias will be multiple inning options behind May.

May needed 55 pitches to get through two innings on Thursday. He has been used sparingly during the postseason posting a 1.35 ERA in 6 2/3 innings to go along with nine strikeouts and four walks.

Gonsolin started in place of Kershaw in Game 2 and made his first appearance in 17 days. He retired the first nine batters he faced but tailed off from there allowing five runs in 4 1/3 innings. The Dodgers staked Julio Urias to an 11-run lead before he took the mound in Game 3. He threw 101 pitches while allowing three hits and one run over five innings before exiting.
