The Daily Chop: Nick Markakis’ Opening Day walk-off, Pascual Perez and more

Sunday was a pretty quiet day around the Atlanta Braves and the rest of Major League Baseball. While we don’t have any real games to write about yet, we have plenty of good stuff planned for the upcoming week so be sure to check in with us.

While Opening Day 2019 wasn’t a great memory, the 2018 version is another story. Atlanta erased a 5-0 deficit which was capped off by a three-run walk-off home run by Nick Markakis in the ninth.
