Sean Newcomb will make his third start of the spring Sunday afternoon when the Atlanta Braves take on the New York Yankees in Grapefruit League action. Newcomb remains in competition for one of the final spot in the Braves’ rotation and will be making his third appearance of the spring. So far, Newcomb has allowed five hits and two runs over five innings while striking out seven. He has yet to issue a walk this spring.
Ronald Acuña Jr. will get the start in center Sunday for the Braves. Dansby Swanson, Travis d’Arnaud and Johan Camargo are also in the starting lineup.
