There was some off the field news for the Atlanta Braves on Friday as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Bill Rankin reported the team and the family of a fan who fell to his death at a 2015 game at Turner Field settled their wrongful death lawsuit.

The family of Greg Murray filed suit in 2016. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed and neither the family’s lawyer nor the Braves provided a comment.

More Braves News is putting a list together of the players with the best tools from the NL East. Up first is the hit tool and no surprise but Freddie Freeman gets the nod with Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies also getting mentioned. Others from the NL East include Corey Dickerson (Marlins), Jeff McNeil (Mets), Howie Kendrick (Nationals) and Jean Segura (Phillies).

Friday’s Braves flashback traveled back to 2012 and a win over the Dodgers.
