As part of its recently announced All-Star Saturdays lineup, Fox Sports South will re-air the 2000 MLB All-Star Game played at Turner Field which took place back on July 11, 2000. This was the second time in history that Atlanta had hosted the mid-summer classic with the first coming back in 1972.

The Braves were well represented in this game as Chipper Jones and Andres Galarraga were both voted in as starters for the NL squad. Andruw Jones was named as a reserve while both Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine were part of the pitching staff.

Chipper had a big day going 3-for-3 at the plate while hitting the NL’s only home run of the game.

The broadcast will get underway at 7 p.m. on Fox Sports South.
