Saturday was in large part a slow news day for MLB fans as the NFL Draft wrapped up and captured most of the eyeballs. Fox Sports South did replay the 2000 All-Star Game at Turner Field Saturday night which seems fitting given Chipper Jones’ birthday earlier this week. If you are enjoying these vintage game replays this will be a good week for you as Fox Sports Southeast we air every game of the 1995 World Series beginning on Monday.

This week’s FanPulse survey focused on the how rule changes will impact the 2020 MLB Draft. Saturday’s Braves flashback travels back to 2011 and an extra inning loss to the Padres at Petco Park.

MLB.com’s Daniel Kramer spotlights all 11 pitchers who have won both MVP and Cy Young Awards since the latter was established back in 1956. Clayton Kershaw was the last to do it back in 2014.

Also at MLB.com, Mark Feinsand reviews the 2006 AL MVP vote and comes to the conclusion that Derek Jeter was robbed. Jeter finished second in the actual voting to Twins first baseman Justin Morneau who took home the award.

Finally, a Major League official testified in court recently that he suggested that umpire Angel Hernandez be removed from consideration for the 2015 World Series because he did not things Commissioner Rob Manfred would approve.
