It is hard to beat the match-up, at least on paper that we have this fine Tuesday evening as we have two of the league’s best teams in the Braves and Yankees with Touki Toussaint and Jordan Montgomery on the mound respectively. The Braves are coming off a tough loss to the Phillies yesterday which saw Sean Newcomb and Robbie Erlin implode while the Yankees have lost two straight and have cooled off considerably after a torrid start to the season.
As is customary here at Talking Chop, we welcome you all to join us and discuss and comment upon the game as it goes on. There are bound to be some ups and downs and since this is Yankee Stadium, I am sure we are going to see some balls that would be easy fly outs anywhere else turn into home runs...but lets hope that its the Braves that are on the winning side of that. This is a two game set against New York before the Braves have their first scheduled day off following by a three game series at the Marlins. Have fun, behave yourselves, and lets do this thing.
