We miss you, Ronnie.

Remember when there was optimism that Ronald Acuna Jr. was potentially going to be available as early as Monday right after the Marlins series? Yeah, so much for that.

The Braves announced before their game Saturday that Acuna was going to be placed in the injured list for his ailing wrist, although importantly the listing is retroactive so Acuna could be activated late next week.

The Braves are saying all of the right things by saying that they are just be careful and do not want to rush him back, this is does speak to the fact that this is more than just the usual soreness they are dealing with with Ronnie. With Ozzie Albies also on the mend, the Braves have two of their most dynamic young position players on the injured list not to mention the rotation which is, well...a difficult situation to say the least.

DJ LeMahieu sprains left thumb on swing

The Yankees seem to have a lot of trouble keeping guys healthy. Some, like Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge, are repeat offenders on the injured front. However, some, like DJ LeMahieu who hurt his thumb on a swing, seem to just be collateral damage from the voodoo curse placed upon the squad.
