The Braves just keep finding ways to win.

The Braves walked off the Nationals in shocking fashion on Monday, overcoming a three-run deficit with a rally that culminated with a Dansby Swanson two-run homer. The club continues to find ways to win despite another bad outing from a starting pitcher. With a bevy of injuries and limited rotation options, the Braves have become an underdog very quickly, which makes each victory especially sweet. Those victories carry even more weight when they come against the defending world champs.

Touki wild, but Braves emerge victorious

Atlanta won on Monday despite a bad outing from Touki Toussaint. The club can thank Adam Duvall and Dansby Swanson, who each delivered two-run homers in the ninth inning.

Acuña ‘still sore’; Albies ‘not 100 percent’

Updates on Acuña and Albies were less than stellar, as both appear destined to remain on the IL for a bit longer.

Braves manager Brian Snitker said Acuña “was still sore” when he arrived at Truist Park to have his left wrist evaluated on Monday afternoon. As for Albies, his right wrist is still limiting him when he takes swings from the right side of the plate.
