After a rough start to Thursday’s game, the Braves remembered they still can score runs in other games besides last night. However, if a comeback is to be accomplished tonight, it will be without Tyler Flowers.
Tyler Flowers was removed from the game as a precaution after being hit by a pitch in the triceps during the 5th inning.

Flowers was hit by a pitch from Austin Voth in the top of the fifth inning. Though Flowers was looked at after being hit, he remained in the game. He scored on Ronald Acuna Jr.’s two run home run. However, he was removed from the game in the middle of the sixth inning and replaced by Travis d’Arnaud.
Flowers was 0-1 with a run scored before he left for the night.
The Braves made the move as a precaution to ensure Flowers was not injured further. For a team that has certainly experienced its fair share of injuries, they certainly want to avoid anything impacting their offensive depth. Hopefully, Flowers will be just fine and be ready to go again in the very near future.
We will provide further updates as they become avaliable.
