After a frustrating night watching their bats get silenced by the extremely talented Sixto Sanchez the Braves are getting a huge piece of their team back as they have reinstated infielder Ozzie Albies from the injured list - the team has announced.
The #Braves today reinstated INF Ozzie Albies from the 10-day injured list after optioning INF Johan Camargo to the club’s alternate training site following last night’s game.

To make room for Ozzie, Johan Camargo has been optioned to the alternate training site. Johan hit .200/.244/.367 - a 58 wRC+ and -0.2 fWAR while trying to fill in for Ozzie. Johan looked overmatched at times so hopefully his time at the alternate site will help slow the game down for him and he can work on his timing some.
Viewed as one of the best value contracts in all of baseball by Fangraphs - the return of Ozzie provides the team with a breath of fresh air during a rough time after seeing Max Fried head to the injured list. Albies did not start the season strong as he hit .159/.196/.273 in 11 games but once he stopped switching hitting entirely everyone knew something was up and he was quickly added to the injured list. With Dansby hitting well, getting Ozzie back makes this lineup that much more deep and difficult to pitch to. His presence in the lineup has been missed sorely and getting him ramped up for the playoffs could be absolutely huge for the team.
