Braves have worst World Series odds among remaining teams

Given their early season struggles, it is a surprise to see the Atlanta Braves matched up against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS again. While the Braves have played well down the stretch and looked the part in the NLDS where they dispatched the Milwaukee Brewers in four games, they are still decided underdogs to win the World Series according to the latest odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Dodgers: +130
Astros: +235
Red Sox: +450
Braves: + 500

The Dodgers are currently the favorite to win the 2021 World Series. Los Angeles is the defending World Series Champion and just took down the San Francisco Giants who won 107 games during the regular season so it isn’t a surprise that they are listed as the favorite. Houston defeated the White Sox in the ALDS and have the second best odds. They have some question marks with their rotation but have the lineup to pull it off. The Red Sox at +450 have slightly better odds than Atlanta as the Championship series open. Boston came out of nowhere to claim a Wild Card and took down the 100 win Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS.
