Battery Power: Bullpen stumbles as Braves fall again in L.A.

Dodgers come back to win 6-5, denying Atlanta its first postseason victory at Dodger Stadium since 1996.

The Braves were headed toward a commanding lead on the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series — then the eighth inning happened.

Cody Bellinger smashed a three-run home run off Luke Jackson, and Mookie Betts followed with a go-ahead RBI double, as Atlanta’s dominant bullpen stumbled in a 6-5 loss Tuesday night that cut the series lead to 2-1.

Grant McAuley and Cory McCartney break down Jackson’s approach to Bellinger, who had struggled during the regular season vs. fastballs, but has a well-known postseason pedigree.
